Scotland was 3/3 of the father-daughter trip, and might've been my favorite! Dad & I rented a car which was an adventure in itself since they drive on the left side of the road over there (yikes!). We rode through the Scottish Highlands on our way to Eilean-Donan Castle, and also visited St. Andrew's, which my golf-fanatic father loved. To top off the trip, we stayed in a haunted castle & enjoyed delicious bread pudding with warm cream.
Favorite Things from This Portion of the Trip:
-Taking photos of the snow-caps in the Scottish Highlands
-Making friends with a traveling Hematologist, while eating our bread pudding
-Trying blood-pudding for the first time (still have mixed feelings)
-Seeing Eilean-Donan Castle
-The Gothic style architecture in Edinburgh
